Anubudh faced very low engagement on its GMB profile, with only about 20 user actions in total—and no recorded phone calls. The listing lacked visibility on Google Maps and had no compelling CTAs, offers, or trust-building elements to convert views into actions.


Strategic Interventions
To address these challenges, several targeted steps were taken:
- The Google My Business profile was fully updated with accurate working hours, detailed service descriptions, and high-resolution images.
- The listing was redesigned to emphasize key actions like “Call Now” and “Get Directions,” using a layout focused on conversions.
- It was optimized for hyperlocal search queries such as “online training near me,” improving visibility in relevant searches.

Results
These efforts led to a sharp increase in visibility and engagement. GMB interactions rose from about 20 to over 100. Phone calls jumped from zero to 42, bringing in qualified leads. Direction clicks also tripled, indicating strong offline intent and trust in the brand.
GMB Action Breakdown
A pie chart analysis showed that 41.2% of user actions were calls, while 58.8% were direction requests. This healthy balance shows both strong conversion potential and growing local interest.


Final Insights
Anubudh’s GMB overhaul directly impacted student interest and lead generation. With 42 direct phone calls in a short timeframe and a threefold increase in direction clicks, the optimization clearly resonated with users. Consistent updates, localized SEO, and a visual-first listing helped Anubudh rank in the top 3 map results, turning a previously invisible profile into a lead-generating asset.
